Choral Masterclass at St. Vlad’s

My godmother visited recently after attending the masterclass with Vladimir Gorbik at St. Vlad’s. She’s a soprano and now the choir director at her monastery, and though she only audited the course, she shared some amazingly profound and against-the-grain comments from Msr. Gorbik. Here’s a link to the interview with him posted on the site regarding the American style of arrangement, and even better, here’s a sound clip of Eis Polla… which in my Thickheaded translation of the Russian means something like “It’s Chicken”… only I’m sure I’m now on my way to Perdition… but at least I got to hear some good tunes first!
